All persons born on or after September 1, 1969, must show proof of satisfactorily completing a Hunter Safety course approved by LDWF to purchase a Basic Hunting License. EXCEPT any active or veteran member of the United States armed services or any POST-certified law enforcement officer, application for the exemption shall be filed in person at the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries main office building in the city of Baton Rouge.
However, a person younger than 16 years of age may hunt without such certificate if he is accompanied by and is under the direct supervision of a person 18 years of age or older EXCEPT during a statewide youth deer hunt, the youth must have satisfactorily completed a Hunter safety course approved by LDWF to participate. Annual hunting and fishing licenses go on sale June 1 each year and expire June 30 of the following year.
Hunting licenses may be purchased online or by telephone. An authorization number for immediate use will be provided and licenses will be mailed to the licensee. A SERVICE FEE IS CHARGED.

All persons hunting migratory game birds (mourning doves, ducks, geese, woodcock, rails, snipe, coots or gallinules) in Louisiana must be HIP certified in addition to their appropriate licenses.

Residents and nonresident hunters age 16 or older must have a Basic Hunting License to hunt, take, possess or transport any wild birds or quadrupeds (for which hunting is permitted and seasons are opened).
Additional special licenses are required to hunt, take, possess, or transport deer, turkey, bobcat, or migratory waterfowl or to hunt with a bow or primitive firearm.
Hunters must have licenses (or license numbers) and a physical form of identification on their person while hunting.
No person born on or after September 1, 1969, shall hunt unsupervised unless that person has been issued a certificate of satisfactorily completion of a Hunter Education course approved by LDWF. Licenses are available at special rates for seniors, military, students, and people with disabilities. Lifetime licenses are also available.

We are located in Jones, Louisiana just south of the Louisiana/Arkansas border, approximately 50 minutes from Monroe, Louisiana. Interstate 20 runs right through the middle of Monroe.
In Monroe, follow on Highway 165 North through Bastrop, Mer Rouge, Bonita and Jones. Just North of Jones is Kilbourne Highway. Megabucks is located exactly 3 miles on the right. Just look for the sign!
We don’t mix groups here. Over 40 years ago my hunters said they did not want to hunt with strangers or stay in the same lodge with strangers It’s your vacation not someone else’s. Either in the blind or lodge.
Yes you can! All dogs will stay in our nice kennels or in your own truck. However, no dogs whatsoever will be allowed to be in the lodge.

Our Lodges Provide 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living area, and a full kitchen.
we also provide 2 fire pits with seats surrounding the pits and two bars and hangout places.
We DO NOT provide any food or drinks
We do have a propane gas grill on the patio.
We have complete kitchens. You bring your own food and do your own cooking.
